Constructivist Learning Theory
As learner and teachers, we are builders of our own education. Schools are construction zones of sorts with many tools, many hands, and many minds. There are many overlaps with exploratory and constructivist learning theories. The figurative and literal walls between subject areas and those teaching have implied obstacles and barriers for andragogical growth on the parts of teachers, learners, and leaders. Dissolving physical and philosophical barriers supports a shift in perspective and practice towards holistic teaching, educating the whole child, and emergence from tradition for tradition's sake.
